Seems since last year I brought a flower cake to a Strawberry Shortcake Party or some such nonsense, and this year ordered a Miss Piggy cake I am ban from planning any further birthday partays'. Also I was told that "thank god you cannot have anymore children because you cannot plan them a proper party." I am okay with this assessment. Because it is true. My Super Sweet Sixteen on MTV proves it.
FTR I did contact the bakery manager and have Miss Piggy stopped and have just a plain cake ready for pick up on Sunday.

Marriage is hard, so is turning 40 and I need more wine
So in about twenty days I will be the big four-ohhhhhhhhh my god. It was difficult to say I was thirty-something and took me a good ten years to do so and now I have to try to deal with this forty something thing. I am just not prepared. I thought forty would look like: Nice home, stressfree, lots of wine (ok I have lots of wine), and stressfree. However there is still stress and I cannot get my clothes organized in my bedroom. My hallway is not painted or half painted or whatever. It is a spiral of chaos and not enough wine.
Work is not helping in the stress area. Our insurance laws are changing monthly and that is making our rates increase rapidly. The rate increase is making our clients upset. Which in turn makes them call me angry and I am out of reasons why the rates have gone up. The companies need more money **shaking my head***
My son has moved out on his own, actually with his best buddy. He is very happy and I now have a young man. and an empty bedroom.
As for Princess, she has bridged over to become a brownie. She has passed 1st Grade and received exceptional marks in reading. I believe her excessive, if not exceptional vocabulary had a huge part in her marks. Either way I am a proud momma bear.
Hubby is working tons of overtime and I've yet to reap the rewards of his work. My hallway isn't done, the bathroom window is still cracked, I have no awning on the front porch and no screen for the back porch.
Let us pray that wine will help me cope with the forthcoming day of forty something. Thank you CHF
