Thinking out loud

The pains of house hunting is all in who you take on the trip with you. If you take one of your very supportive sisters, all houses have that potential that people tell you about..."If you tear down this wall and take down all that wall paper and tear up the carpet and replace all the windows with that million dollars you have then this foreclosed house will be perfect!!!"...If you take your very unsupportive spouse then it is a horrific experience. The problem is you can't actually bid on a home the spouse is going to be paying for without him looking at it. Right?
He managed to embarrass me in front of the realtor to the point that I do not want to even give her a call to look at more houses, the poor woman has already taken me to several and the two we liked fell through. I just know that if we had been looking the entire time we have been in this hell hole, by now we'd have a home.
It's official I am addicted to facebook games..I am MAFIA WARS!! It's a shame and I completely blame my hubby cause he got me a puter for my birthday and then put it right in the living room where I have easy access to it 24/7.
Teen son is still putting in apps and not getting a damn job.
After attending the birthday party in da hood for a friend of the family's Princess has decided she wants to learn some Cupid Shuffle and we are practicing!
My favorite show is back on Toddler and Tiaras, this of course reminds me that I can so put my little princess in these shows because all the judges say they are looking for personality and Princess has tons of personality!!! I also know with my amazing shopping skillz I can so find a pageant dress for way less than six hundred dollars. Plus we have discussed her walk and she has the blowing kisses at he judges down pat!!! Just a thought

Damn neighbors, not mine but my curly headed friends'

Today I had lunch with curly headed friend...the usual chili fries and coke. However on my way out, I meant to take her the Goya (spices) that I got her so that her food would be fantabulous but of course I totally forget the spices! So I took it to her house. Princess and I were waiting on the porch when she walked up the street from her sisters' house carrying her cute, nephew like a sack of taters. Little guy is as cute as he can be!!
Across the street, from curly headed friends house, some men pull into the driveway of the newest foreclosed home on the block and since curly headed friend is also a detective on the DL she decides that we need to go over there and see what is up. Curly headed friend walked up on the guys like she owned the place! We asked what they were doing and they were actually cleaning out the house...CHF starts telling the guys about the meth-lab that the home was raided for and a lot of crazy other happenings then she spotted her wreath. A wreath that she gave the former owner to hang on his door for Christmas. Actually she gave him two because for some crazy reason the house has two front doors, not to mention two bathrooms that are side by side and she thinks this would be the perfect home for me to live in!! WTF?!?! As she is rummaging through the front closet looking for the other wreath that this man left, she can not believe that he do not take her gifts!! CHF has no shame and continues to go through cabinets and closets leaving no door unopen. Something I notice that she does with swift precise movement...like a child on Christmas morning opening their gifts looking for that one gift that they can not live without...she finds treasures, a glass bowl, her wreath and because she is not greedy also finds a bag of dog food to give me for Tilda. Afterall, she tells me, his dogs are dead since they were shot by the police in the last raid.
Did I forget to mention that it smelled like a few things died in this place??! I'm thinking nothing can get rid of that awful odor!
CHF's is awaiting the arrival of her newest and first granddaughter....her daughter looks like a pregnant model! I just know as soon as she has her baby she is going to be one of those lucky bytches that gets right back into her size two jeans...yes I am jealous. After my first I lost the weight in like a month, I gained like seventy pounds...she has gained like seven! My only advice is to get the drugs!!!!!!!!

Healthcare now

Well hubby got me a puter of my very own for my birthday...can I get an AMEN!?
So it took two weeks before it was hooked up, but it is and I can now ignore the TV and do some posting.
Let's see the house hunt is on and let me tell you the race to get a home is on. There are tons of houses and people must really be standing in line waiting for the signs to go up in the yard so they can make an offer. Two houses and so far not good. Love some houses but not "the one" yet.
I'm waiting up for Teenson to get home from Cedar Point. Can't believe it but he has driven himself there!
Today I went to dad's to get some papers and decided to stop at IKEA to get a puter desk for my new puter...two hours later I am sitting in the parking lot trying to get the desk in the little escort. I know right...let teenson drive the SUV to Cedar Point cause I'm cool like that...somehow I must have forgotten that and couldn't get the damn desk in the trunk. Had to call Sister3 to pick it up...thankbabyjesus she came. Princess was having a tea party in the parking lot of Ikea and it was hot!
I told Princess that we have to do something nice for her Auntie since she came all this way to pick up my desk and she responded "Mom, when I'm thirty and I hatch a baby I'll name her after Auntie." I think that is a good deal...pick up desk have first born grandchild named after you.
My Bff is no longer here and I really needed her help one day a couple of weeks ago and went and picked her up...to clean. I did not have the energy, not even the ipod was giving me the boost to clean...but she did. Thank you!!
Sister2 told me today that she doesn't want healthcare for everyone...because if someone isn't insured they can go to the ER and get checked. This really got to me cause I was refused services at the ER because I wasn't insured. Actually I was told there was nothing they could do for me because I had not insurance. They did give me morphine then sent me on my way. I know too many people that do not have coverage, I've never had coverage except for a few months of my adult life. I know people suffer, our own mom didn't have coverage for a very long time but sister2 doesn't want to have to wait longer for her care and if it doesn't work for her then she doesn't want anyone else to have coverage. WOW. I really hope that she never has to go without insurance. I hope she never has to suffer though chest pains and back aches because she can not afford to go to the doctor, not to mention a dentist.
Everyone in the country deserves healthcare so please tell congress to vote yes..
First, see if your Rep. is in the Energy and Commerce Committee here. (If not, call Chairman Henry Waxman at 202-225-3976)

Then, call the Congressional Switchboard at 800-473-6711 and ask to be connected to him/her. Ask to speak with the health legislative assistant.
Tell them to vote yes:

“Hello, My name is __________, and as your constituent, I urge the Representative to vote YES on Representative Anthony Weiner’s HR 676 amendment to the Energy and Commerce Committee’s healthcare bill.”
